May Favorites 2015!

Hey Guysss!!

Can you believe it’s June already? We are halfway though 2015 and I just find that crazy! May was a wonderful month because It was the end of my first year of college!! (Woohoo, just 3 more years to go!) Also, I am officially employed (again) since yesterday.  I decided to take a couple of months off of working in order to focus on school, but since school is over now, I decided to get myself a job to feed my makeup addiction (Yay, edith!). I tried quite of few products this past month that I have really ended up loving! So let’s get started!

e.l.f. Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder in St. Lucia

I am a huge e.l.f. fain, so I decided to pick this bad boy up! I originally picked this up thinking it was the matte blush and bronzing powder, but it resulted in being the shimmery one. When I opened it, I wasn’t really liking it because of the shimmer. Although, the colors were nice. I decided to give it a try and I fell in love! It does have shimmer but it’s really refined that it basically just gives me a really nice glow. I love using this when I’m in a hurry or when I don’t want to use a lot of makeup. It also stays on my face the WHOLE day! I was super impressed by this!

CVS Beeswax Chap-Block Lip Balm

I really don’t know why I picked this one up because I usually gravitate towards the Nivea lip balm or the original Chapstick. But!!!! I certainly do not regret buying this little guy! It is the generic version (or the store version) of Chapstick, but it works so great on my lips. It has beeswax, vitamin E and peppermint which really make my lips soft. I usually apply this before I go to sleep and right when I wake up. I love wearing matte lipsticks, but they are very drying. I put this lip balm about 30 minutes before putting on lipstick and I find that my lipstick doesn’t dry my lips as much.

Wet n’ Wild Coloricon Bronzer in Ticket to Brazil

I love this sooooo much. It lays so beautifully on the skin and the color is really nice! I have been using it almost every day (literally). I don’t usually apply makeup everyday, usually I just apply a moisturizer with spf, some mascara and this bronzer. I love how it just gives my skin great color and dimension. It also has spf, which is a big plus! I think it only cost me about $3 USD I want to say. You get such a big amount and nice quality for such a small price. This is a definite must-have for your makeup collection!

Rimmel Match Perfection Skin 2-in-1 Concealer & Highlighter in Fair

I’ve actually have been using this for a couple of months now and it is one of my favorite concealers! I’ve bought a few different concealers, but I find myself going back to this one. I did buy this a few shades lighter in order to highlight. I love this because it doesn’t settle in my fine lines. It does come with a brush applicator that I find really helpful. The consistency of the concealer is really nice and creamy and it blends like a dream! I don’t wear this alone, I always set it with a translucent powder. If you just started to get into makeup, I really recommend this concealer!

Maybelline Lash Sensational Macara

This is just my all-time favorite mascara that I thought I should mention because it definitely deserves it! I love this mascara because it gives me great length, volume and curl! I never have to curl my lashes before applying this mascara because there is no need for it. It doesn’t flake or smudge and it is very build-able. LOVE IT!

Clean & Clear Persa-gel 10

My skin has not been liking me lately and I have been breaking out a lot! I bought this as a spot treatment for my stubborn pimples. It works really great. I included this in my night-time skin care routine and I love it. It eliminates the redness and the size of the pimple over night. Although it works amazing on my pimples, it does dry my skin a lot, but nothing a little extra moisturizer can’t fix!

Alrighty guys, that is all for today! I really hope you like these kind of posts. Also, leave a comment down below with your monthly favorites because I would love to hear about them! Other than that, have a great Monday and remember to start the week (and month) with positivity! Love you guysss!
